Not having the funds for Xenon lights I installed
Philips Blue Vision bulbs in my '99 TT. These produce light more reminiscant of daylight (4000 Kelvin, with a slightly blueish glow) and are brighter than regular headlights. I'm quite content with them. They are definitely much brighter than my old headlights and the color is more pleasant to look at (less straining after a long trip in the dark). Replacing them costed me 75 Euros total and I think that's definitely worth it. Just thought I'd share my findings with you guys. Cheers! --> |

I know.. they're actually cheaper in the store, but you need both H7's and H1's (the big lights and the regular ones) so added up that makes around Eur. 75 But thanks for the hint anyway ![]() |

I recently replaced mine as well, but with the Sylvania Silverstars (H7).
