I am going to try to rebuild my Edelbrock Performer carb on my 76 this
weekend. Any quick suggesions on how to make it easier? I have the rebuild kit fron Edelbrock, some carb cleaner and plan to do***ent the whole process. Also, the manifold is rusty. Is there something I can do to stop the rust and repaint it without removing it? Same with the manifolds. Daryl --> |

I dont think rebuilding is a tough tastl. You should have little time to do it. But remember you should not do the experiments till you are very good at it. I would advise you to go to carb shop

When you buy a carb rebuild kit, the instruction are very concise and there is an illustration of the carb and all the parts and their positions.
