Default Changing the blinker module on a C5

I need to replace the main blinker module on my C5 but the dealership want's an insane amount of labor to do this, so I think I'm just going to do it myself, but I know it's a little bit of a trick to get to the module. So does anybody know where I can get instructions on how to do this.

Let me just go over the change and see if you want me to send you the "tricks". See that big dash pad in front of you and the center air duct? The air outlet is screwed to the back of that dash pad and retains the hazard warning switch (flasher). Remove the dash pad and then the air duct system that is attached to the back. Then pop out the hazard warning switch, pop in the new hazard switch and put back the air duct and replace the dash pad. Done, and now you have the entire day to enjoy your Corvette. Hazard warning switch number 10406626 was on the 1999-01 and may still be the correct number.

That's an odd place for the blinker switch to be! It's usually somewhere under the dashboard where it's more accessible.
